1. Our Role

Armadillo provides services to lenders and other financial-services businesses.

When Armadillo processes applicant information on behalf of a lender, that lender determines why and how the information is used. In that context, Armadillo generally acts as a service provider or data processor, and the lender’s privacy notice may also apply.

When we process information relating to our website visitors, prospective customers, customer representatives, and platform users for our own business purposes, Go Armadillo LLC acts as the business or data controller responsible for that information.

Armadillo does not itself approve, deny, fund, or make final decisions regarding loan applications. Lending decisions remain the responsibility of the applicable lender.

We may use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Armadillo platform.
• Communicate with applicants on behalf of lender customers.
• Request, receive, organize, and validate application information and documents.
• Track application progress and identify missing information.
• Send authorized reminders and follow-up communications.
• Route information and completed files to the applicable lender.
• Integrate with lender systems, customer relationship management systems, loan-origination systems, and communications providers.
• Create and manage customer accounts.
• Provide demonstrations, support, onboarding, and customer service.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot problems, and improve our services.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
• Respond to privacy, legal, and regulatory requests.

4. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing

Armadillo uses automated and artificial-intelligence-assisted systems to support functions such as:

• Generating and interpreting conversational responses.
• Identifying missing application information.
• Extracting information from documents.
• Checking whether documents are legible, complete, or consistent with requested requirements.
• Organizing information for review by the applicable lender.

These systems assist with application intake and document collection. Armadillo does not use them to make final lending or credit decisions on its own. The lender remains responsible for its underwriting, eligibility, compliance, and lending decisions.

5. WhatsApp, SMS, and Telephone Communications

When configured by a lender, Armadillo may communicate with applicants through WhatsApp, SMS, or telephone calls.

These communications may be delivered using third-party communications providers, including Meta and Twilio. Those providers may process telephone numbers, message content, delivery information, and related technical data according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Message and data rates may apply. Communication frequency varies depending on the application workflow. Recipients may request that communications stop by using the instructions provided in the communication, replying with an applicable opt-out keyword such as “STOP,” or contacting the lender or Armadillo.

Telephone calls may be monitored, recorded, or transcribed when configured by the lender and where legally permitted. Any required notice or consent should be provided before recording.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the services requested by our customers.
• Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
• Meet contractual, legal, accounting, security, and compliance obligations.
• Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, lender instructions, contractual requirements, and applicable law. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:

• Request access to personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of personal information.
• Request a copy of certain information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Opt out of certain communications.
• Submit a complaint to an applicable privacy authority.

If your information was collected for a lender, you may need to submit your request directly to that lender. We will reasonably assist our customers in responding to applicable privacy requests.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Certain information may be exempt from a request when retention or processing is permitted or required by law.

10. Data Deletion Requests

Please include:

• Your name.
• The telephone number or email address associated with your interaction.
• The lender or company with which you were interacting, if applicable.
• A description of the information you want deleted.

To request deletion of information associated with Armadillo, email privacy@goarmadillo.io with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”

We will acknowledge the request and may request additional information to verify your identity. If the information is controlled by one of our lender customers, we may forward the request to that lender or direct you to contact it.

We will process verified requests within the period required by applicable law, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.

11. International Data Transfers

Armadillo and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have privacy laws different from those in your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

12. Children’s Privacy

Armadillo’s services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through our website. If you believe a child has provided information to us without appropriate authorization, contact us at privacy@goarmadillo.io.

13. Third-Party Services

Our website and platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. Their handling of personal information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, platform, or other appropriate means.
